On October 16, 2025, the management team of Project BSB00168, Know What You Breathe: Mobilizing Communities for Air Quality in the Black Sea Basin (AIRQUEST), convened online for the 4th Management Meeting. Representatives from ZBEU (LP), DOKA, BATTI, ATG, and ONU participated in this meeting to report on project progress, plan the upcoming story contest and awareness-raising seminars, and strengthen collaborative efforts to engage communities in air quality monitoring.

Meeting Highlights

  1. 4th Period Review and Reflection
    The Lead Partner (LP) presented the expenditures and activities for the 4th project period, and partners reflected on their progress.
  2. Awareness-Raising Seminars and Story Contest
    Details on the procedures for organizing the story contest and awareness-raising seminars were shared by LP. 
  3. Educational Materials and Dissemination
    Partners reviewed the progress of preparing educational materials and made plans for the upcoming periods. Regarding dissemination, they were asked to develop and plan effective strategies to enhance the visibility and outreach of project activities.
  4. Upcoming Activities in the 5th Period
    Partners discussed the STEM Contest and Tree Planting Activities planned for the 5th period, as well as the 5th Management Committee Meeting to be held in Romania.
  5. Communication and Reporting
    The LP emphasized the importance of effective communication and evidence collection (e.g., attendance sheets, photos, and dissemination materials) for project activities. Reporting guidelines were presented and discussed.
Project Team

Partners reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining strong communication, aligning dissemination and educational outputs across the partnership, and ensuring timely feedback on shared materials such as the project book, notification letters, and videos. The meeting concluded with a shared focus on sustaining cooperation and achieving the project’s goals for the upcoming periods.
