On March 7, 2025, the management team of Project BSB00168, Know What You Breathe: Mobilizing Communities for Air Quality in the Black Sea Basin (AIRQUEST), gathered online. Project partners from Türkiye, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Romania participated in this meeting to review project progress, discuss challenges encountered during implementation, plan upcoming STEM activities, and coordinate efforts to enhance community engagement in air quality monitoring.

Meeting Highlights

  1. Lessons Learned
    An overview of the lessons learned from the first period was provided. The challenges faced by all partners, particularly financial issues and certain deviations from the initial plan, were outlined.
  2. STEM Implementation
    The procedure for the upcoming STEM implementations to be undertaken by all partners was explained, the participants were informed that a common STEM scenario would be shared within a few days, and the questions submitted by the partners via a Google Docs document prepared by the Lead Partner before the meeting were addressed. 
  3. Q&A Session
    Participants engaged in a Q&A session regarding the development of the digital game and mobile application.
Project Team

All partners are committed to maintaining active communication, addressing financial and technical issues, and ensuring the timely implementation of STEM activities, digital tool development, and reporting processes. The need for frequent meetings and continuous support in the preparation of reporting documents was emphasized to ensure compliance with project guidelines.
